Runner

“Runner” by artist Pete Beeman utilizes the extension and movement of muscle groups in all four limbs to make each stride sturdier and more powerful. The artist employs an imagery of limb muscles to depict muscle movements in abstract contours, and integrates mechanical devices he specializes in, forming a highly innovative interactive installation with a bicycle-powered generator. With its large scale and bright colors, the work brings a visual impact differing from the simple tones found in the park.
